This picture is extremely hard to find, as the American
Architect and Building News not only had a very small
circulation during that time, but very few were actually
preserved as this has been. It measures 13.75 by 8.75 inches.
Has a mat border and foam core backing. The whole picture
measures 16 by 11.75 inches (with border). Finely detailed and
beautifully hand-colored. Shrink wrapped. Plan is in VG+
condition. This is a highly unusual, scarce item. Note: The
Armstrong house is now an historic landmark under restoration and is used by the ?????

Puerto, Rico. Ramon Cortada & Co. Early 1900's. This picture shows
the outside of the processing plant. There is low building with the
lettering RAMON CORTADA & CO. SUCCESSOR. There are four men in the
picture loading mule driven carts with bags of coffee beans. Very
good to excellent vintage condition. Approx. 5" X 9". Written on

Puerto, Rico. Ramon Cortada & Co. Early 1900's. This picture shows
the inside of the processing plant. There is a huge bean processing
machine and bags with the lettering Ramon Cortada & Co. PONCE P.R.
I also read COFFEE SEPARATING MACHINE printed on wood connected to
the machine. There are five men in the picture, one is holding
coffee beans cupped in his hands. Very good to excellent vintage
condition, there is a fold on the bottom of this picture from
storage but it can be pressed out for framing. Approx. 6 1/4 " X
9". Written on the back in pencil is: Ramon Cortada Ponce P.R. |

1942 Ponce 25 Original Personal Photos during World War II

25 original, black-and-white photographs, showing various scenes
from Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1942. They include street scenes,
buildings and churches, people, a religious procession in June 1942,
etc. These photos were taken by an U.S. Army vet, servicing out of
Losey Field in 1942. The photos are about 2 1/4-inches x 3
3/8-inches in size (about 58mm x 87mm). The photos are in good
condition, but show some wear, and some are a little torn or missing
small pieces of their corners |
